Stop Trump and Israel’s War in Iran

The Trump administration and Israel have launched the United States into another endless war against Iran. The cost of this war is both human and material. The Iranian people have suffered death, destruction, and chaos that has rapidly expanded across the Middle East. At least 168 children at an elementary school for girls in the city of Minab have been killed. The same billionaires guilty of crimes against women and children in the Epstein files are the same ruling class imposing violence against women and children across the globe.

Every day this war rages on, it costs $1 billion each day. That is funded by working people’s tax dollars. More soldiers will be sent to fight a rich man’s war for blood and oil. Meanwhile, families continue to face having to make rent, afford groceries, or pay to go to the doctor. Ohioans don’t want more death and destruction – we want healthcare, housing, education, and other necessary social programs to be fully funded. 

Our campaign will fight to slash the Pentagon budget by 90%. It’s time to build a new era of global politics that is built on peace and shared prosperity. Slashing the Pentagon budget means we can guarantee job training and well-paid employment with union representation within a People’s Corps for all veterans. We can institute a rent cap so no one pays more than 20% of their income on housing and ban all evictions. We will establish universal, single-payer healthcare, free to the point of use. We will eradicate student debt and fully fund public education. All of this is possible if we build a mass anti-war movement and organize this campaign as a vehicle for our class to stop the billionaire class in their tracks and fight for socialism!
